Painting luminous images reflecting various dimensions on a single plane, the eternal duality between light and shadow always feeds Indira’s themes. Painting chiaroscuro scenes and improbable atmospheres where luminous images and absurd creatures inhabit various dimensions on a single plane, Indira is always exploring the eternal duality between light and shadow revealing various dimensions on a single plane.

Beginning her training at the age of seven, Indira studied art at the University of Guadalajara. In 2012 she won the Salon de Octubre and has exhibited in over 18 solo shows. Her work can be seen abroad in such countries as the United States, Germany, Greece and Taiwan as well as throughout Mexico. Continual experimentation with different techniques and materials with a singular handling of the metaphor of color has become a constant in her work.
